A leading engineering services firm is seeking a Junior or Intermediate Electrical Designer to join their team in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and designing electrical systems and will have opportunities to work on various projects. Ideal applicants should have a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering with 2-5 years of relevant experience and expertise in AutoCAD and Revit. Our Resources subsector, a key component of WSP’s ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) sector, supports clients from coast to coast. Over the decades, we have developed a wide range of services, including economic studies, project management, detailed design, procurement, site management, commissioning and industrial programming. This division provides a full range of services to industrial and mining projects, including all services offered in the field of engineering from conceptual and feasibility studies to complete detailed engineering in EPCM, to the closure and dismantling of mine sites. To meet our growth challenges, WSP is currently seeking a Junior or Intermediate Electrical Designer (Revit, 3D) to join our team located in our offices located in Sudbury, Ontario OR Saskatoon, Saskatchewan OR one of our Greater Toronto offices.
Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, you’ll be at the heart of innovative project delivery—bringing your expertise in design, drafting, and 3D modeling to the Resources team. From conceptual studies to construction‑ready designs, you’ll transform ideas into reality while ensuring technical excellence, cost efficiency, and strong client relationships. This role offers autonomy and impact: you’ll manage your workload, meet deadlines, and deliver high‑quality solutions with minimal supervision, making every project a showcase of your skill and precision.
