What you do:

As a member of the Marketing team, this role is responsible for providing support to the Senior Analyst in analysing and reporting on department initiatives and general business results through the creation and management of dashboards and reports. The role will also be expected to perform ad‑hoc analysis on a variety of business questions, to aid in decision support. In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Prepare reports and presentations on internal client department programs & business results by using analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, PowerBI, PPT, Python, Fabric. This includes measuring program effectiveness and creating dashboards and other visualizations to effectively communicate results.
  • Perform ad‑hoc analysis to support client department decisions by assessing business questions and executing analysis across multiple disciplines.
  • Measuring and interpreting financial impact.
  • Forecast impact and outcomes from marketing, menu or operation initiatives.
  • Research and collect industry insights & relevant developments that may impact the restaurant industry / BP.
  • Provide regular QA on databases to always ensure high quality of data, following data governance practices to communicate concerns and issues accordingly.
  • Understanding of data analysis of unstructured data such as guest feedback or behavioural analytics.
  • Support Senior Analyst in designing and maintaining data pipelines to collect, clean, and transform data from various sources into a structured format.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver to source clear and actionable insights
Who you are:
  • You recently graduated or are working on a post‑secondary degree in Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Marketing or Analytics.
  • You have 1 year of experience in analytics, marketing, or finance.
  • You have advanced expertise in Excel and PowerPoint, data visualization tools (Power BI or similar), SQL, Microsoft Fabric and Statistical analytical methodologies.
  • You have strong critical thinking, problem solving, analytical, researching, attention to detail, time management, and communication (verbal, written) skills.
  • You can work with large, unstructured data sets.
  • You can work independently and as part of a team.
