Junior Account Manager / Trade Counter Account Executive

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Bonus
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (flexibility available if required)
Location: Office-based | Free on-site parking

The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, fast-growing business within the trade supply and services space. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone currently working in a trade counter, branch, or customer-facing trade environment who is ready to step into a more commercially focused account management role.

You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of 60–80 active accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring customers receive a consistently high level of service, support, and proactive engagement.

This role is about relationship management, not hard sales ideal for someone who understands tradespeople, products, and the importance of reliability, responsiveness, and trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of circa 60–80 accounts
  • Build long-term customer relationships through regular contact and account reviews
  • Act as a trusted partner to customers, understanding their needs and requirements
  • Upsell and cross-sell where appropriate, adding value rather than pushing product
  • Coordinate internally to ensure smooth order processing and issue resolution
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement of account processes
