Qualifications

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in a systems administration or IT infrastructure role.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management is preferred.

This is a LOCAL position. Applicant must reside in the Fort McMurray Region or be willing to relocate at their own cost

Role Summary

Bouchier is seeking an ITSystem Administrator to supports and enhances the organization’s IT environment by administering core systems, improving automation, and strengthening endpoint and security management. This role is focused on operational excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement through automation and modern cloud based tools. This role works closely with the IT Manager and broader IT team to support daily operations while contributing to digital transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, security, and scalability.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Azure/Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Support enterprise platforms such as Business Central, BambooHR, and EHS Insight from a technical and integration perspective
  • Assist with identity and access management, user lifecycle processes, and system configuration
  • Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell and workflow tools
  • Identify opportunities to streamline repetitive or manual IT processes
  • Assist with user provisioning, reporting, and system monitoring automation
  • Support device configuration, compliance, and application deployment using Microsoft Intune
  • Support mobile device and BYOD environments
  • Assist with endpoint security, patching, and update management
  • Assist with security controls, logging, and audit preparation
  • Participate in incident response and troubleshooting activities
  • Support vulnerability remediation and security best practices
Education and Experience
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in a systems administration or IT infrastructure role
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell or similar scripting languages
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management is preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft security tools (Defender, Conditional Access)
  • Experience in operational, industrial, or regulated environments is preferred
  • Exposure to automation tools such as Power Automate or Logic Apps is preferred
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Strong ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English
