Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
• Proficiency in communication, able to effectively convey production issues to different stakeholders, with professional emails.
• Exposure to UNIX/Linux servers and CLI tasks for day-to-day operations.
• Knowledge of application/server monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog) and batch tools (CA7, Autosys).
• Ability to read, understand, and support Java-based APIs and perform real-time log analysis.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms/services (Azure App Services, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure SQL).
• Familiarity with automation tools (Python, JSON) and foundational AI concepts.
• Foundational incident management practices (detection, prioritization, escalation, workarounds).
• Awareness of z/OS mainframe concepts including COBOL, JCL, DFSORT, and DB2/IMS.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day application/system support.
• Applications/systems tasks are low to moderately complex and performed under supervision.
• Participates in resolving client applications/system issues.
• Performs basic problem determination.
• Typically reports to a Team Manager / Manager / Senior Manager.
