Job summary

Co-operators General Insurance Company is seeking an Associate Insurance Advisor II in Nova Scotia to drive sales and service for personal lines, primarily auto and home. You will leverage a broad knowledge of products to advise clients, assess risk, and complete inspections while meeting service and growth targets.

The role requires English, with French as an asset, and a path to provincial licensing (OTL).

Qualifications

• 1 year sales and service experience preferred.
• Willing and able to obtain OTL license and meet provincial licensing requirements.
• Knowledge of auto and property insurance products is an asset.
• Strong communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service personal lines auto and home products.
• Advise on coverages and policies to meet client needs.
• Identify additional products/services to benefit clients.
• Complete front line risk assessment and underwriting following guidelines.
• Complete inspections and re-inspections.
• Meet client service, sales, quality and productivity goals.
