Job summary

Co-operators General Insurance Company is seeking an Associate Insurance Advisor II to support agency operations with a focus on sales and service for personal lines (auto, home) in an office-based setting in Canada.

The role requires a General Insurance license with a Life license as an asset, and a minimum of 2 years insurance experience including sales. You will help achieve sales and service goals while providing thorough client coverage recommendations.

Qualifications

• General Insurance license is required.
• Life license is an asset.
• Minimum 2 years insurance experience including sales preferred.
• Knowledge of auto and property insurance products and underwriting skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales, service and growth of personal lines and specialty lines products.
• Advise and recommend coverages and policies that meet client needs.
• Prospect for all lines of business and identify additional products/services for clients.
• Perform frontline risk assessment and select according to underwriting guidelines.
• Complete inspections and re-inspections.
• Meet client service, sales, quality and productivity goals.
