Job summary

The Co-operators Group is seeking an Associate Insurance Advisor II in New Brunswick. The role focuses on selling and servicing personal lines (auto, home) and specialty lines, within an office-based environment.

You will advise clients on coverages and proactively seek cross-sell opportunities while adhering to underwriting guidelines. You will need a General Insurance license, with life licensing considered an asset, and at least 2 years of insurance experience including sales.

Qualifications

• General Insurance license is required.
• 2+ years insurance industry experience incl. sales preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of auto and property insurance products with underwriting skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and service for personal lines and specialty lines.
• Advise on coverages and policies meeting client needs.
• Prospect new business and cross-sell products to benefit clients.
• Perform risk assessment and underwriting per guidelines.
• Complete inspections and re-inspections as needed.
• Meet individual targets for client service, sales and productivity.
• Respond to client questions, resolve complaints, escalate where needed.
• Proactively review auto, home, farm and commercial portfolios.
