Job summary

The Co-operators Group invites an Associate Insurance Advisor II to join our office-based Saskatchewan team. This role focuses on sales and service for personal lines and specialty, leveraging underwriting skills and product knowledge to advise clients and grow the agency.

A General Insurance license is required; Life license is an asset. Two years of insurance experience and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• General Insurance license is required.
• Life license is an asset.
• Meet provincial licensing requirements for continuing education.
• Minimum 2 years insurance industry experience including sales.
• In-depth knowledge of auto and property insurance products with strong underwriting skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales, service and profitable growth of personal lines and specialty lines products.
• Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet client needs.
• Prospect for new business across all lines by identifying additional products/services.
• Complete front line risk assessment and selection following underwriting guidelines.
• Complete inspections and re-inspections.
• Achieve individual goals for client service, sales, quality and productivity.
• Respond to client questions and concerns, resolve customer complaints.
• Proactively complete client reviews on auto, home, farm and/or commercial portfolios.
