Job summary

Co-operators in Canada seeks an Associate Insurance Advisor II to support agency sales and client service for personal lines and specialty insurance. You will advise on coverages and proactively grow the client base.

A General Insurance license is required (Life license a plus); provincial licensing must be maintained. A minimum of 2 years in insurance with sales experience is preferred, with strong knowledge of auto and property products.

Qualifications

• General Insurance license is required.
• A Life license is an asset.
• Meet provincial-licensing requirements to obtain/maintain licenses.
• Minimum 2 years insurance experience including sales preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of auto and property products with underwriting skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales, service and growth of personal and specialty lines.
• Advise on coverages and policies meeting client needs.
• Prospect for opportunities across lines by recommending products.
• Complete front line risk assessments per underwriting guidelines.
• Respond to client questions and resolve complaints; conduct client reviews.
