Job summary

CSS is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Toronto to interact with existing customers and drive increased sales of our products and services. You will obtain, create, and up-sell orders while delivering value and satisfaction to customers.

You will collaborate with outside sales and national accounts to meet targets, with commission tied to individual sales performance. The role requires strong multi-tasking, communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of sales and sales administration experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtains orders via email and phone, verifies items, enters orders and communicates delivery dates.
• Increases orders by suggesting related items and leveraging customer history.
• Owns, qualifies and develops opportunities from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
• Looks for continuous improvement in processes.
• Prepares quotations to secure orders or understand reasons for order loss.
• Reviews open orders and manages items at risk of delivery delays.
• Maintains backorder and expediting reports and notifies customers.
• Reports industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.
