Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma; post-secondary education in business/sales is an asset.
• 3–5 years in inside sales or customer service; distribution/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong customer-service judgment; professional phone/email communication.
• Data entry accuracy and ability to manage quotations and orders.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, email, or in person; resolve routine issues and elevate complex matters.
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Prepare accurate quotations and enter sales orders.
• Confirm pricing, product availability, lead times and delivery details; expedite orders when required.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and keep customers informed.
• Identify economical order quantities and practical shipping options while balancing service and cost.
• Source non-standard products following pricing and margin guidelines.
• Maintain accurate CRM data on customers, quotes, and opportunities.
• Follow up on quotations and nurture existing and prospective customers to grow business.
• Monitor accounts, open orders, and commitments to prevent issues.
