Job description

Overview

Our client a leading distributor of specialty products has partnered with St-Amour to uncover a Inside Sales Representative to work out of their West - GTA Branch. Reporting into a Sales Manager, responsible for handling customer orders, distributing quotes, supporting outside sales and working to maintain an ongoing relationship with customers to ensure their needs are met and to secure repeat business.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to all communications regarding orders from new and existing customers.
  • Ensure customer needs are understood and clear.
  • Provide any technical and product information.
  • Prepare and submit quotations in a timely manner for customer approval.
  • Follow-up with customers on their inquiries and update C.I.D. notes.
  • Input sales order.
  • Identify special packing requirements and any documentation that must be included when the order is shipped.
  • Coordinate delivery date including specific customer requirements.
  • Purchase materials required to satisfy customer orders.
  • Expedite purchased materials and arrange logistics.
  • Review open orders and expedite where necessary.
  • Monitor delivery of order and inform customer of changes in the delivery schedule.
  • Ensure that any special order requirements are met before material is shipped.
  • Maintain up to date customer information.
  • Provide information for outside sales reps on customer inquiries.
  • Assist in sourcing and securing material for special orders.
  • Initiate billing adjustments for invoice changes (I.e. defective material, customer returns).
  • Other duties as assigned.
