Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive repair or tire industry is an asset.
• Effective listening skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide recommendations.
• Working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires and mechanical services.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory license abstract.
• Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must.

Responsibilities

• Create work orders and arrange bookings and communicate them to the technicians.
• Provide service quotes and obtain customer authorization for work; finalize sales and follow up.
• Make proactive calls to customers to gauge satisfaction with the service received.
• Recommend tire services and related mechanical services to customers.
• Ensure all products are billed accurately and entered in the computer system.
• Keep showroom promotional material updated.
• Participate in safety initiatives to ensure safety for Fountain Tire staff and customers.
• Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses as per policies.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation and annual counts.

Fountain Tire Roper Road, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team as a Service Advisor!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians
• Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.
• Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received
• Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers
• Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system.
• Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.
• Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire including customers and staff, on the road, site or field.
• Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

What does it take to get on track?

• Experience in the automotive repair industry or tire industry is an asset
