Job summary

Fountain Tire Edmonton is seeking a responsible Automotive Tire Technician to join our team. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger and light trucks, maintain TPMS, and support safe shop operations.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive/tire industry experience required.
• Knowledge of passenger and light truck tires and wheels is an asset.
• Customer-service focus to build relationships with team and customers.
• Ability to lift 25 kilograms and maintain safety.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Reset tpms and maintain tire service equipment.
• Complete specialty tire work (studding, retread, nitrogen etc.).
• Assist in inventory management and annual counts.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers.

Fountain Tire Edmonton (11107 - 158th Street), is looking for a responsible, safe, and motivated individual to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• We are looking for someone with previous automotive/tire industry experience
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
