Job summary

Fountain Tire Roper Road is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our Edmonton team. You will diagnose vehicle issues, perform repairs to manufacturer specifications, and conduct scheduled maintenance while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed Technicians preferred, must be at least a registered 3rd year Apprentice to be considered.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to customers.
• A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology.
• The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to providing a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer's vehicle.
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles.
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications.
• Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements.
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner.
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries.
