Fountain Tire Edmonton Heritage in Edmonton is seeking a friendly, dedicated Service Advisor to join our automotive repair team. You will create work orders, communicate with technicians, provide quotes, and secure customer authorization for repairs.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in the automotive repair or tire industry.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.
• Effective listening skills to identify customer needs and provide recommendations.
• Working knowledge of passenger, light truck and specialty tires and mechanical services.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract.
• Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must.
• Team player who takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Create work orders and arrange bookings, and communicate them to the technicians.
• Provide service quotes and obtain customer authorization for work, finalize sales and perform follow-up.
• Make proactive calls to customers to determine satisfaction with service.
• Recommend tire services, specialty tire services, wheel and mechanical services.
• Ensure all products are billed accurately and enter information in the computer system.
• Keep showroom promotional material updated.
• Participate in safety initiatives to ensure safety for Fountain Tire customers and staff.
• Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses per learning modules.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians
• Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.
• Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received
• Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers
• Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system.
• Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.
• Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire including customers and staff, on the road, site or field.
• Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

What does it take to get on track?
