Fountain Tire Sidney is seeking a friendly Service Advisor to join our team. You will create work orders, quote services, and coordinate with technicians to ensure smooth bookings and accurate customer communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive or tire industry is preferred; training provided.
• Strong listening skills and ability to identify customer needs.
• Knowledge of tires, wheels and mechanical services is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and provide a driving record.
• Excellent customer service attitude and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Create work orders and arrange bookings and communicate them to technicians.
• Provide service quotes and obtain customer authorization for work; finalize sales and follow up.
• Proactive calls to customers to gauge satisfaction with service.
• Recommend tire services and related maintenance to customers.
• Ensure accurate billing and data entry in the computer system.
• Keep showroom promotional material updated.
• Participate in safety initiatives and learning modules.
• Assist in inventory management and annual counts.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians
• Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.
• Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received
• Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers
• Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system.
• Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.
• Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire including customers and staff, on the road, site or field.
• Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

What does it take to get on track?

• Experience in the automotive repair industry or tire industry is preferred but we are ready to train motivated individuals who are willing to learn
• Effective listening skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide recommendations
• Working knowledge of passenger, light truck and, specialty tires and mechanical services
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract
• Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
• A team player who takes pride in their work
