Fountain Tire is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician at our Roper Road location in Edmonton, AB. You will diagnose vehicle malfunctions, perform repairs, complete scheduled maintenance, and advise customers on future repair needs.

Fully licensed technicians preferred; 3rd year apprentice welcome. A focus on safety, quality, and exceptional customer service is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed Technicians preferred; must be at least a registered 3rd year Apprentice to be considered.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers.
• A diagnostic specialist who enjoys keeping up with modern technology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to providing a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle.
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles.
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications.
• Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements.
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner.
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries.
