Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Hamilton, Ontario! As an Inbound Material Coordinator, you will ensure that proper procedures are being followed by the inspection team members for productivity, quality control, and safety.

What you're responsible for:
  • Identifying inbound material grades, non‑conformities, non‑recyclable and hazardous material in inbound loads
  • Effectively and successfully training productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Inspection Team
  • Facilitating and directing trucks to correct yard locations in an efficient manner
  • Performing Daily Checks (Pile Quality, Truck Inspection, Gate Cleanliness, Overnight Loads)
  • Providing feedback to production about material quality or sale specifications
  • Coordinating quick action for loads that need to be sorted and dealt with in a timely fashion
  • Communicating with supervisors and commercial team about downgrades and deductions
  • Assisting in the implementation of training programs to train external team members on quality and procedures
  • Reviewing outbound sales to ensure quality specifications are met
