Job summary

A leading health organization in Canada is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) I to perform imaging examinations and produce diagnostic images. You will assess patients, work in various shifts, and assist with equipment care. The ideal candidate has an MRT diploma, is registered or eligible for registration with ACMDTT, and possesses essential skills like communication, judgment, and a strong attention to detail. Availability for all shifts is required, and physical demands include lifting patients and supplies over 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program.
• Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• 3 years experience in an acute care setting and/or trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard technical radiological imaging examinations.
• Prepare and assess patients for examination.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images.
• Assist with the care and maintenance of equipment.
