Mayfair Diagnostics is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to support reception, scheduling, and patient flow across Calgary clinics. You will greet patients, verify information, and coordinate with technologists to ensure smooth examinations.

The role requires medical terminology knowledge, strong customer service, and the ability to multi-task in a busy clinic environment. Travel between Calgary clinics is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Health Information Office Assistant, Unit Clerk, or Medical Office Assistant is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relatable customer service experience in a face-to-face environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in reception and ensure patient comfort.
• Admit incoming patients for examinations in a timely fashion.
• Confirm patient information is correct and complete.
• Receive requisitions and verify information.
• Assist technologists and direct queries to appropriate staff.
• Answer phone calls and manage inquiries and messages.
