Job summary

Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Cambridge, Ontario, seeks a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to support patient flow in DI and provide excellent customer service. You will assist in Ultrasound, CT, X-ray and MRI workflows, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

The role requires enrollment in a CMRITO MRT program, BCLS, strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a busy hospital. Full-time, on-site with competitive HOOPP benefits.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a CMRITO-accredited MRT program.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills.
• Experience with Meditech is an asset.
• Ability to work in a hospital environment and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists with positioning, transferring and lifting.
• Enter data and document patient information into systems.
• Confirm patient prep and conditions before scheduling.
• Monitor supplies and coordinate with charge technologist.
• Support workflow across DI modalities including Ultrasound, CT, X-ray and MRI.
• Ensure safety for MRI and X-ray procedures.
