Job summary

Insight Medical Imaging is seeking a Medical Receptionist for Meadowlark Cardiac Lab in Edmonton. This full‑time role handles front desk duties, patient check‑in, and coordination of exam preparations within a diagnostic imaging environment.

You will manage patient information, import prior exams, and support physicians and staff while maintaining confidentiality and a professional manner in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 graduate required.
• Typing speed at least 50 words per minute.
• Knowledge of medical terminology considered an asset.
• Medical Office Assistant/Unit Clerk/Medical Transcription training an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and checking in of all patients.
• Documentation of patient information on computer.
• Ensures all previous examinations are imported.
• Porter and change patients in preparation for exams.
• Handle all incoming report and image requests.
• Requesting previous exams from outside facilities.
• Looking up and importing previous studies prior to arrival of scheduled patients.
• Maintain professional confidentiality of patient information and results.
• Provide patients with exam preparations.

Insight is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team in our Cardiac Lab department at the Meadowlark clinic. These is a permanent, full-time position.
