Job summary

Mejuri is seeking a People Operations Specialist in Toronto to own onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management across systems like HiBob, ADP Workforce Now, Storeforce, Yoobic, and Google Workspace. You’ll partner with Payroll and People Business Partners to keep data accurate and processes efficient.

The role splits time ~60% operations and ~40% improvement, requiring strong HRIS experience, data analysis, and a proactive, AI‑fluent mindset to drive scalable people processes globally.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in People Operations, HR administration, HRIS, or a comparable operational role.
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining data inside an HRIS. HiBob and ADP Workforce Now familiarity.
• A track record of building automation, reports, processes, or tools relied on by others. AI tooling is a plus.
• Ability to pull, clean, and present data independently with analytical rigor.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and handling large data volumes.
• Solid HR knowledge to inform day-to-day decisions with good judgment.
• Comfort moving projects forward while managing day-to-day tasks in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Employee lifecycle—Own onboarding, offboarding, role changes, and leaves end to end.
• Ticketing queue—Triage, resolve, and route requests in the People system.
• Program administration—Manage benefits, ESOP, time off, and employee discounts.
• Payroll accuracy—Ensure data transmits correctly to Payroll and resolve discrepancies at source.
• Root cause fixes—Audit recurring tickets and implement lasting solutions.
• System integrity—Maintain data across HiBob, ADP, Storeforce, Yoobic, and Google Workspace.
• Automation—Build lightweight automations with AI tools and Google Apps Script.
• Reporting—Maintain headcount, attrition, and live service-volume dashboards.
• Program delivery—Support design and rollout of People programs with a DARCI.
• Cross-functional work—Collaborate with People, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Payroll, Retail Ops, IT, Finance.
• Governance & compliance—Run audits and track compliance across geographies.
• Documentation—Create SOPs with DARCI and flowcharts for easy handover.
