Job summary

Mejuri is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage semi-monthly payroll for about 400 Canadian employees across multiple provinces. You will validate inputs, handle off-cycle payments, and ensure accurate deductions and garnishments while coordinating with People & Culture and Finance for data consistency.

The role requires 2–3 years of multi-provincial Canadian payroll, ADP Workforce Now experience, and knowledge of provincial employment standards. Hybrid work in Toronto is offered.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years processing payroll in a multi-provincial Canadian environment.
• Hands-on experience running payroll in ADP Workforce Now.
• Solid understanding of statutory deductions, employment standards, and payroll legislation across provinces; PCP certification (or in progress) and US payroll exposure are assets.

Responsibilities

• Run semi-monthly payroll for approximately 400 Canadian employees across multiple provinces in ADP Workforce Now.
• Validate inputs before each run by reviewing timesheets, new hires, terminations, and employee changes for accuracy.
• Handle off-cycle payments, adjustments, and manual cheques as they arise.
• Apply deductions correctly: statutory deductions, benefits, garnishments, and other payroll deductions.
