Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources management, with expertise in various HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively lead HR initiatives and support the organization's goals through effective human capital management.
Duties
- Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with organizational objectives.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, including FMLA and OSHA regulations.
- Supervise HR staff and provide guidance on employee orientation, training & development, and performance management.
- Facilitate conflict management and employee relations to foster a positive workplace environment.
- Administer benefits programs and manage payroll processes using HRIS systems such as Workday, Paychex, or ADP.
- Conduct employee evaluations and support succession planning efforts to ensure leadership continuity.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives related to human resources.
- Utilize data analysis skills for HR reporting and process improvement initiatives.
- Lead change management efforts to adapt to organizational growth or restructuring.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on talent management and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, including FMLA, OSHA, and workers' compensation regulations.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
- Experience in organization design and program management within an HR context.
- Proficiency in various HR software systems such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Kronos, or UltiPro.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on process improvement and data collection / analysis.
- Supervising experience is preferred along with familiarity in budgeting for HR initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining confidentiality.
