Qualifications

  • 2-3 years’ experience in an HR generalist role.
  • 1-2 years of HRIS experience is required, Workday experience is preferred.
  • CHRP certification is an asset.

As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the HR function. Acting as the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries, you will provide guidance and support across a wide range of HR activities including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, benefits, employee leaves and accommodation management, and Workday administration. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented HR professional looking to work in a dynamic, fast-faced and collaborative environment.

HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries, collaborating with cross-functional HR team members to ensure timely resolution and seamless service delivery
  • Execute FCT’s end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes in collaboration with hiring managers, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and external recruitment partners to ensure a seamless candidate and new hire experience
  • Administer all employee lifecycle activities in Workday—including onboarding, job changes, transfers, and offboarding—while ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and timely documentation
  • Ensure all employee-related documentation is accurately and promptly updated in Workday to maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee all benefits administration, disability, and accommodation management (short-term and long-term) while acting as a liaison with external service providers to ensure timely and accurate processing. Monitor case progression with the external service providers.
  • Support HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) with the execution of operational aspects of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to drive consistent and efficient delivery of HR services across the organization.
  • Continuously identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of HR operations and systems.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
  • 2-3 years’ experience in an HR generalist role
  • 1-2 years of HRIS experience is required, Workday experience is preferred
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field such as Business Administration
  • CHRP certification is an asset
