Job summary

Parkland County is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to support HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, and program initiatives. This role emphasizes accurate records, documentation, and customer service within the Employee Services department, reporting to the HR Manager.

Ideal candidates will have HR-related certification and at least two years in HR, with strong organizational and communication skills. In-person work at Parkland County Centre with one remote day per week is available.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Certificate in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• HR System Administration training would be an asset.
• Minimum two years in a HR environment with familiar with Employment Standards, Human Rights, etc.
• Excellent organizational, record management, and time management skills with accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR reports, employee profiles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for HR functions including filing and records management.
• Create and update documentation, perform system entry, coordinate meetings, and support financial processes.
• Deliver high levels of internal and external customer service and respond to inquiries.
• Support recruitment and selection, onboarding and orientation, and HR initiatives.
