• Distribute free HIV testing kits at events with proper usage instructions.
• Assist in coordinating the SF AIDS Walk initiatives.
• Promote La Clínica TRUCHA’s HIV services at community events.

Role Responsibilities

• Answer community questions regarding HIV statistics and information - provide basic information about HIV and the importance of getting tested
• Provide resources for those seeking assistance via program databases – provide HIV related services resources available in the community
• Go to events to promote HIV prevention and testing – attend outreach events and help promote HIV prevention and testing
• Provide free HIV testing kits at events and instructions of proper use – refer people interested in testing to our testing counselors
• Help efforts with SF annual AIDS Walk (SF AIDS Foundation) – help with coordination of the SF AIDS Walk
• Promote La Clínica TRUCHA at community events across Bay Area – promote La Clínica TRUCHA’s HIV services at community events across the Bay Area.
