A large international mining firm is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician to join their team in Northern Ontario. This camp-based role involves maintaining and repairing on-site mobile equipment. The ideal candidate will be a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic with experience in mining or construction. Our client, a large international mining firm, is looking for several Heavy-Duty Mechanics to join their team at one of their mines in Northern Ontario. This is a camp-based role with a 14 days in, 14 days out rotation.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all on-site mobile equipment.
• Experience with CAT, Komatsu, and Epiroc equipment is an asset.
• Self-starter, well-organized, knowledgeable in preventative maintenance.

Must Have:

• Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic with experience in heavy mining or construction equipment.
• Ability to work in a shop or service truck environment.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.
