Job Opportunity: Healthcare Business Analyst - Montreal

We are seeking a Healthcare Business Analyst to join our team of consultants in our Montreal office. This position offers a hybrid work mode.

Key Focus Areas:

1. Patient Appointment Booking:
   - Configuration of booking slots, resource requirements, provider schedules, etc.
   - Front-end functionalities for booking, canceling, rebooking, and managing appointment series and groups.
   - Data capture and reporting related to appointments.
2. Procedure and Medication Order Flows:
   - Focused on hospital environments, including clinic and outpatient orders.
   - Documentation of workflows and order fulfillment, covering normal and exceptional cases.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Knowledge of Healthcare and Healthcare IT (excluding Insurance).
• Experience as a Business Analyst, Clinical Informaticist, or System Analyst.
• Proficiency in documenting business requirements using techniques like User Stories, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, etc.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to interpret regulatory documents and translate them into business requirements.
• Attention to detail balanced with business realities.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of Canadian healthcare system.
• Bi-lingual in English and French is a plus.
