Job summary

Bruce Auto Group is seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician based in New Minas, NS. You’ll support about 300 users across 12 dealerships and 2 body shops, handling Windows PC support, imaging, and network tasks.

The role focuses on end-user support, troubleshooting, asset management, and collaborating with a small team. Training is provided, and a strong foundation in networking is desired.

Qualifications

• College or university diploma in a computer-related field or comparable work experience.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and a willingness to learn quickly on the job.
• Clear, professional communication—written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• End-User Support (L1/L2) for Windows PCs, laptops, printers, devices, and apps.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and document incidents.
• Image/build PCs, join domain, configure profiles, set up users/workstations.
• Assist with switches, VLANs, VPN clients, and wireless connectivity.
• Follow change procedures for VPN access and firewall verifications.
• Configure network printers, manage queues, and troubleshoot printing issues.
• Track assets and keep documentation up to date.
• Support dealership software and perform basic troubleshooting.
