Job summary

R.W. Tomlinson Limited is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Service Desk and End User Computing team in Ottawa. You will support employees across offices, field locations, and plants, handling devices, applications, and user accounts in a modern Microsoft 365 environment.

The role is on-site at our Ottawa location with local travel to field sites. You will deploy and manage devices, assist with onboarding, and enforce security and MFA practices while delivering high-quality user

Qualifications

3 years of experience in desktop support or service desk.
Strong working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 apps.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provide first- and second-level support in person, by phone, and remotely.
Document and track requests in the service desk system from intake to resolution.
Configure and troubleshoot Windows devices and apps (Intune/Entra ID, Autopilot).
Assist with asset management and onboarding/offboarding processes.
Follow security policies and respond to phishing or security incidents.
