Job summary

David Aplin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Personal Lines broker in the Markham area who specializes in group quoting and VIP clientele. You will manage a team of 5 Account Managers, drive new business from existing accounts, and assist producers with high-net-worth submissions.

Ideal candidates will hold a RIBO license with 5–7+ years in insurance brokerage, strong leadership, and familiarity with carrier partners like Chubb and Prestige.

Qualifications

• RIBO license required; 5–7+ years in personal lines and high-net-worth insurance.
• Experience quoting for multiple carriers including Chubb, Ovation, and Prestige.
• Strong leadership to support an independent, experienced team; Power Broker is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with high-net-worth clients for quotes and carrier communications.
• Lead a 5-person team of account managers and CSRs; mentor and track attendance.
• Assist with recruiting/training; coordinate with producers for high-end submissions and renewals.
• Oversee workflow, address operational issues, and share managerial updates.

Job description

We are recruiting an experienced Personal Lines broker with expertise in Group quoting and exposure to servicing VIP clientele as well. In this role you will deal with generating new business out of existing accounts, manage day to day people management for a team of 5 experienced Account Managers, and help out producers with submissions for VIP/High-net-worth clientele.

Compensation

• $80,000 to $100,000 in base salary depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as theliaison for high-net-worth clients, handling quotes and communication with premium carriers such as Chubb, Ovation, and Prestige
• Manage group insurance quotes for existing clients and new prospects, including coordinating with producers for high-end markets
• Lead and support a team of 5 experiencedaccount managers and CSR’s, ensuring smooth operations, tracking attendance, and providing mentorship
• Assist with recruiting and training new team members
• Collaborate with producers to handle high-net-worth submissions, renewals, and cross-selling opportunities
• Oversee team workflow, address operational issues, and communicate managerial updates

Qualifications

• RIBO License
• 5-7+ years’ experience in an insurance brokerage setting with strong experience in sales and service for personal lines and High-net-worth accountrisks
• Experience quoting for multiple carriers including Chubb, Ovation, and Prestige.
• Leadership skills to support an experienced, independent team
• Familiarity with Power Broker is an asset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive business growth
• Willingness to work in an office environment with some flexibility for traveling occasionally
