About the role: General Merchandise Associate

Working as a General Merchandise Associate at Walmart Canada means providing exemplary customer service by greeting customers politely and assisting with locating merchandise, promoting products/services, and resolving issues as they arise. You maintain and zone the general merchandise area, move feature merchandise to its home, and assist with front-end coverage when needed.

Your day-to-day includes stocking merchandise, picking and downstocking, applying product protection, setting and completing modulars (including flex modulars and new shelf caps), and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure. You contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by completing safety sweep logs and collaborating with fellow associates to maintain floor coverage, demonstrating a helpful, communicative, and positive approach.
