American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Non Ferrous Receiver for the Stratford location. reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for receiving, sorting, and weighing metal, maintaining premises, and ensuring equipment safety.

The role requires forklift/crane experience, strong teamwork, and adaptability to outdoor conditions. The position offers full-time employment with vacation, benefits, and an RRSP matching program.

Responsibilities

• Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD25.75 /hr, plus overtime after 44 hours

Job Description We are currently recruiting for a Non Ferrous Receiver with experience for our Stratford location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.

• Receive, sort and organize different types of ferrous metals
• Cover the scale and weigh in trucks when required using the RECY system to properly weigh and track the material
• Do general maintenance of the premises
• Ensure the equipment in good condition
• Provide excellent customer service to clients on site
• Operate the Fork lift as required
• Work with a safety oriented mindset

Qualifications

• Experience in metal recycling considered an asset
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
