AIM Recycling in Sorel is seeking a Non-Ferrous Receiver – Labourer to join our team. The role focuses on receiving, sorting and handling non-ferrous metals indoors with occasional outdoor tasks, in a dynamic industrial environment.

You will unload, inspect, weigh, and organize materials; prepare shipments; maintain site cleanliness; and follow health and safety standards while collaborating with colleagues. This is a permanent, full-time position with training and safety boot provisions.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in an industrial, recycling or related environment.
• Experience operating a forklift or other equipment.
• Knowledge of different types of metals.
• Ability to perform manual work indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Safety-conscious and reliable; strong team player.

Job Description

We are looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiver – Labourer to join our Sorel team.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for receiving, sorting and handling non-ferrous metals. The work is mainly performed indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs.

This position focuses on manual work, material handling and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for a reliable, active individual who is comfortable performing physical work.

Responsibilities :

• Identify and classify non-ferrous metals;
• Weigh and organize materials;
• Prepare shipments and incoming materials;
• Maintain site cleanliness and organization;
• Work safely and follow health and safety standards;
