Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a store associate to manage cash, cashiering and merchandising, ensuring the customer remains at the centre of everything we do.

You will lead cashier/merchandising staff, train teammates, and uphold loss prevention standards while delivering a high level of customer service across the store in Lindsay, Ontario. This role supports store policies, helps with product availability, and ensures a clean, organized shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages cashier/merchandising staff and ensures policy compliance.
• Trains cashiers/merchandisers in job functions and provides ongoing guidance.
• Manages loss prevention standards and cashier tracking procedures.
• Ensures proper customer service, including product location inquiries and refunds/exchanges guidance.
• Maintains store appearance, housekeeping and adherence to safety requirements.
• Performs clerical and banking duties when required.
