Responsibilities

• Lead front end operations to deliver exceptional customer service, support a positive shopping experience, and drive customer loyalty.
• Ensure compliance with company programs and operational standards to help the store run efficiently and effectively.
• Handle customer and associate concerns professionally to resolve issues and maintain a positive front-end experience.
• Monitor Front End operations to ensure proper associate coverage and support to outlying registers.
• Train associates on systems and Company procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity standards, company programs and initiatives, discount programs, EAS processes, and safety requirements.
• Oversee purchase, return, and exchange transactions, provide approvals when required, assist with correcting errors, and verify processes are followed in accordance with Company guidelines.
• Ensure EAS systems are functioning properly by confirming cashiers deactivate merchandise correctly, greeters handle alarms appropriately, and “Failure to Deactivate” logs are completed accurately.
• Prepare registers for daily opening and closing, support cashiers by providing change as needed, maintain appropriate front-end cash levels, and complete audits to ensure register accuracy.
• Oversee and promote company-sponsored programs and initiatives, including credit card services, Walmart Protection Plans, charity initiatives, and associate and customer discount programs.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
