Front Desk Agent – Pyramid Lake Lodge, Jasper, AB

Overview

Pursuit Collection is seeking a Front Desk Agent for Pyramid Lake Lodge in Jasper, AB. The position is seasonal, full-time, paying $18 per hour. Shifts may include nights and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Educate guests on Pursuit Attractions and guide them through the purchasing process.
  • Provide a professional, friendly, and efficient check-in and check-out experience.
  • Answer and direct Pyramid Lake Lodge phone calls and emails.
  • Coordinate efforts to accommodate guest requests.
  • Maintain knowledge of Maestro, Retail Pro, Expedia, Booking.com.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the lobby and retail inventory.
  • Maintain inventory and ordering of PLL office supplies.
  • Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficient handling of cash, credit cards, and cash-out forms.
  • Communicate with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion.
  • Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees.
  • Resolve guest complaints and refer to Hotel Manager or Front Desk Supervisor as required.
  • Learn the Emergency Response Manual thoroughly.
  • Assist the guest experience team with rentals when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work autonomously; strong organization and time management skills; a passion for making a difference for each guest and employee.
  • Previous cash handling, hotel front desk, or hotel night auditing experience preferred.
  • Guest-service oriented mindset and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to think creatively with quick, thoughtful judgement and a positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail, speed, consistency, and follow-through; ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible to work mornings, evenings, or nights as required.
  • Meets Pursuit grooming policies and standards.
