Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will help our customers complete their taxes using TurboImpôt. By providing tax guidance, reviewing personal tax returns, preparing complete declarations, and managing product/software inquiries, you will contribute to our goal of fostering prosperity worldwide.
• You will utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and communicate the correct answers to clients in understandable terms.
• This is a virtual, customer-facing role requiring the use of advanced video communication tools and meticulous documentation of interactions for accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of two (2) years of paid professional tax preparation experience as an expert in taxes.
• Provision of CRA RepID (representative identifier) is required for client representation services.
• Experience with professional tax software for preparing and filing personal tax returns, including complex situations like employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and various credits and deductions.
• Excellent customer service skills and professionalism in client interactions via video and audio tools.
• Availability to work at least twenty (20) hours per week with flexible scheduling.
• Proficiency in both English and French is essential for this bilingual role, serving clients across Canada.

Additional Assets:

• Experience preparing Business (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

• Strong understanding of tax laws and concepts, with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Effective communication skills, active listening, and empathy.
• Ability to resolve complex issues independently and escalate when necessary.
• Resourcefulness and curiosity for ongoing learning.

Intuit offers a competitive salary range, with base pay from $24.50 to $33.50 per hour depending on location, plus bonuses, stock rewards, and benefits. Details are available on our website.
