Job summary

The Canadian Virtual Academy is looking to hire a freelance online tutor and online course creators/Instructors at the post‑secondary level in areas such as Engineering and Technology, Computers and Information Technology, Handyman Skills, Business, Accounting, Law Studies, Arts and Science, Medical Sciences, Education, Agriculture and Animals, Health and Wellness, Life Coaching and Relationships, Professional Training & Designations.

The successful candidate will work with students on problem areas in their coursework by explaining course concepts and examples and assisting with exam preparation through individual and/or group tutoring online sessions.

The successful candidate will design and implement an online course, including curriculum content, assessments, reference materials, and employ a variety of appropriate teaching/learning strategies.

• Minimum 3rd Year or 4th Year University student with a cumulative
  GPA of 70% or higher; or possess an Undergraduate Degree in a related area.
• You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited University or College
• You are a Master’s/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited University or College.
