If you answered ?Yes!?, we have an immediate opening for a new _*4th Class Power Engineer*_, and YOU may be the perfect fit!As the newest _*4th Class Power Engineer*_ for *K-Bro Linen Systems* (K-BRO), you will be based out of our centrally located facility in Burnaby at 8035 Enterprise Street, just off Lougheed Highway (near Lake City Skytrain Station). This modern commercial laundry facility underwent a multi-million dollar upgrade in 2018 and services some of the largest and most recognized global hotel brands located in the Greater Vancouver area and Whistler.*K-BRO* has been a Canadian leader in laundry and linen services since 1954, providing comprehensive linen and laundry solutions to the healthcare, hospitality and other commercial sectors. We currently operate nine facilities in eight major Canadian cities, as well as five facilities in northeast England and Scotland, UK. With a portfolio of modern facilities, experienced management and staff, and a strong outlook for the future, now is a great time to join and grow with *K-BRO*!*Your primary responsibilities include:** Ensure production equipment is functioning properly / troubleshoot and repair equipment to ensure maximum equipment uptime, availability and reliability.* Maintain and repair all equipment in the plant and building as needed.* Ensure all assigned job requisitions are completed effectively and in a timely manner.* Carry out boiler maintenance activities.* Carry out preventative maintenance and safety inspections on equipment, building and grounds.* Work in conjunction with plant personnel to modify and improve processing and packaging equipment.* Assist production personnel to setup, takedown or relocation of production equipment.*Your previous skills and experience include:** *4th Class Power Engineer Certificate is a must** *Have technical skills in industrial and manufacturing engineering.** Some experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment would be an asset.* Electrical background would be an asset.* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Ability to work alone and in a team environment.*What We Offer:** *Benefits package, including Life Insurance, Dental, Extended health care, and Disability Insurance** Growth opportunities* Free parking*Work Hours:* 8 hours \* 5 days per week; Must be able to work weekends as well as early or late hours to meet operational needs.*Pay Rate:* *$30.10/hour*We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those considered for an interview will be contacted.Job Type: Full-timePay: $30.10-$31.50 per hourBenefits:* Dental care* Disability insurance* Extended health care* Life insuranceExperience:* Power Engineer: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:* 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate (required)Work Location: In person
