Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Sales & Partnerships team in Canada, ensuring that individual goals, plans, and initiatives are delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
  • Support and enable two‑way referrals between Scotia iTRADE and Scotia Wealth Management and key partner channels by executing and triaging targeted client offers, and participating in special projects.
  • Expand Scotia iTRADE’s sales reach through various distribution channels, supporting business line partners and geographic regions across Canada.
  • Proactively build brand awareness and provide exceptional sales and service support to partners and clients directly.
  • Champion a customer‑focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Apply the bank’s risk appetite and risk culture to day‑to‑day activities and decisions.
  • Pursue effective and efficient operations, ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day‑to‑day business controls to meet obligations related to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk.
  • Build strategic relationships by supporting the sales process and cultivating relationships with front‑line sales representatives and leaders from Scotiabank and Wealth Management business lines.
  • Contact targeted Scotia iTRADE clients or prospects to introduce banking or investment solutions and deepen client relationships across the bank.
  • Manage two‑way referral opportunities and triage clients in collaboration with the iTRADE Product Strategy, Wealth Analytics, and Wealth Marketing teams.
  • Manage and support partnership initiatives to develop new business opportunities on growth client segments and accelerate total wealth delivery while driving higher NPS.
  • Undertake, support and deliver direct sales initiatives targeting internal and/or external channels to create broader awareness of Scotia iTRADE and drive profitable relationships.
  • Drive brand awareness through client education and support initiatives both in person and virtually.
  • Develop and maintain awareness of competitors’ products, services, and marketing initiatives, and articulate how Scotia iTRADE products/services provide superior value.
  • Create and deliver tailored training resources and guides as required to support evolving partner and client inquiries.
  • Promote brand awareness through an omni‑channel approach, leveraging technology to interact with internal partners and clients.
  • Support planning and execution on key partnership initiatives to strengthen partner engagement and increase business growth.
  • Take ownership of a personal development plan and work with the manager to develop skills, behaviours, and competencies required to achieve high performance and an inclusive environment.
