Job summary

COFOMO in Montreal is seeking an Expert Business Analyst to support product owners and the digital delivery team in decision-making and deliverables. You will adopt a user-centric, solution-agnostic approach for multi-domain initiatives and define the scope of processes to be optimized.

You will lead workshops, model current and target processes, and perform impact assessments with industry experts, ensuring traceability of requirements and solutions.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field and several years of experience in business analysis.
• Strong skills in business process transformation, change management and continuous improvement.
• Experience with banking industry activities, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Both strategic and tactical, we help organizations across a wide range of industries thrive in today’s rapidly evolving world.## Our promiseHelp our clients succeed and maximize the impact of their transformation initiatives, turning them into powerful drivers of growth and innovation.## Job description**Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :** • Support product owners, business partners and the digital delivery team in their decision-making and deliverables; • Adopt a user-centric, solution-agnostic approach for multi-domain initiatives; • Define the scope of processes to be optimized and take charge of the planning of activities related to the different deliverables; • Lead workshops bringing together several stakeholders with various expertise and levels in order to understand their needs and issues; • Model current and target processes according to current mapping practices; • Perform high-level and detailed impact assessments in collaboration with relevant experts; • Collect, document and analyze business needs, stakeholders and solutions while ensuring their traceability; • Participate in the evaluation of potential partners, analyze available solutions and recommend preferred options; • Determine user test scenarios (UATs) and support users during the operational transfer; • Propose change management strategies. **The profile we are looking for is as follows:** • Hold a university degree in a relevant field and several years of relevant experience; • Have strong business analysis skills in a technological environment; • Experience in end-to-end business process transformation, change management and continuous improvement; • Understand the activities, processes and issues of the banking industry, including regulatory and governance requirements; • Master business process mapping and improvement as well as BPMN modeling; • Be familiar with quality assurance processes, including test strategies and scenarios; • Demonstrate the ability to think strategically as well as strong analytical, synthetic, communication and complex problem-solving skills; • Demonstrate leadership, initiative, excellent priority management and adaptability; • Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) as well as Atlassian tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
