With an emphasis on smart design, sustainability, and long-term value, we develop properties that enhance both lifestyles and local economies. We are currently seeking an Experienced Architect to lead and support design initiatives across a diverse range of projects.

Opportunity

As an Experienced Architect, you will play a key role in the design, planning, and execution of both residential and commercial development projects. You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure that all projects meet aesthetic, functional, and compliance standards. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful, community-shaping developments from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead architectural design efforts for residential subdivisions, multifamily housing, retail centers, and mixed-use developments.
  • Prepare and review conceptual designs, schematic drawings, construction documents, and presentation materials.
  • Coordinate with civil engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and planners throughout the design and permitting process.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure all designs comply with local zoning, building codes, and ADA standards.
  • Assist in obtaining project approvals and permits from municipal agencies.
  • Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project coordination efforts.
  • Oversee construction administration including RFIs, submittals, and site visits as needed.
  • Contribute to design standardization and process improvement within the company.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in architectural design, with a focus on residential and/or commercial projects.
  • Licensed Architect (RA) preferred or in active pursuit of licensure.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, building systems, and local permitting processes.
  • Excellent design, visualization, and technical documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in land planning or working closely with land development teams.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED or other green building standards.
  • Familiarity with site planning software or GIS tools.
Work Environment
