Provincial Automotive Repair Industry Association

Location: Saskatchewan (Remote; preference for Regina or Saskatoon)

Eligibility: Must reside in Saskatchewan

The Opportunity

Our client, a provincial automotive repair industry association, is seeking an experienced and relationship-focused Executive Director to lead operations, represent member interests, and strengthen collaboration across the automotive repair and insurance landscape in Saskatchewan.

This role is ideally suited to a professional with direct experience in the automotive repair sector and a strong understanding of insurance-driven repair environments, including working with provincial insurers such as SGI. The successful candidate will act as a trusted industry ambassador, advocate, and connector between repairers, insurers, suppliers, regulators, and the Board. This is a full-time, remote role offering autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a highly interconnected and regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities
Industry Relations & Advocacy
  • Serve as the primary liaison with automotive repairers, insurers, suppliers, and regulators
  • Represent the Association in industry forums, working groups, and stakeholder discussions
  • Monitor industry, regulatory, and insurance-related developments and advise the Board accordingly
Membership Growth & Partnerships
  • Drive member recruitment and retention by clearly articulating the Association’s value
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, suppliers, and strategic partners
  • Secure sponsorships and partner support for events and initiatives
Communications & Engagement
  • Produce a weekly industry newsletter and support digital communications
  • Ensure consistent, professional messaging aligned with member and industry priorities
Board, Committees & Governance
  • Coordinate quarterly Board meetings and provide ongoing operational support
  • Attend and support Technical Subcommittee and Adjuster Working Group meetings
  • Ensure clear communication between the Board, committees, and external stakeholders
Events & Programming
  • Plan and support annual Spring and Fall Conferences
  • Collaborate with partners on relevant education and networking opportunities
Administration & Reporting
  • Support budgeting, year-end reporting, and record management
  • Maintain organized systems to ensure continuity and transparency
Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven experience within the automotive repair industry (repair operations, supplier, insurer, or industry association)
  • Demonstrated experience working with insurance companies or claims environments, including provincial insurers such as SGI
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in an association, non-profit, or membership-based organization is an asset
  • Comfortable operating independently in a remote environment
  • Willingness to travel within Saskatchewan
