Bayview invites you to join our Fredericton service team as an Evening Service Advisor. You will greet customers, document vehicle concerns, and open repair orders to aid diagnosis.

You will verify recalls, process warranty claims, and keep customers informed through the repair lifecycle. In this role you will work with the Service Foreman and technicians to ensure accurate quotes, timely updates, and proper completion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Automotive/Truck dealership experience.
• Strong computer skills with Windows-based programs and MS Excel & Word.
• Excellent customer service skills with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and open repair orders with accurate information to assist with diagnosis.
• Verify open warranty recalls or campaigns for customers.
• Confirm warranty eligibility and process warranty claims.
• Coordinate with Service Foreman and technicians to communicate with customers and address concerns quickly.
• Maintain communication with customers throughout the repair process, including approvals, estimates and ETA.
• Ensure charges are posted accurately to close repair orders timely.
• Identify upcoming preventive maintenance services and schedule them.
• Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to company policies.
• May perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Foreman.

The Role:

• Greet and welcome customers. Open repair orders with accurate and thorough information, including the details of the vehicle concerns, to assist with proper diagnosis.
• Verify open warranty recalls or campaigns available for the customer.
• Confirm Warranty eligibility and process the warranty claims.
• Work with Service Foreman and technicians to maintain clear communication with the customer and ensure that their concerns are addressed quickly.
• Maintain this communication with the customers throughout the repair process, including, the customer’s approval of the repair, an estimate of the cost and an expected time of completion.
• Ensure all charges are calculated and posted with accuracy to ensure timely close of Repair Orders
• Identify possible upcoming Preventative Maintenance services with customers and schedule for them.
• Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• May include other administrative duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Foreman.

Requirements:

• Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Windows-based programs and MS Excel & Word.
• Minimum of 3 years Automotive / Truck dealership experience.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills with the ability to prioritize and focus in a fast-paced environment
• Cooperative and team-oriented personality with a professional positive attitude.
