Hansen Industries Ltd. (An EIC Company) in Richmond, BC, is hiring an Entry Level Human Resources Assistant to join our HR department. This is an entry level position with responsibilities across recruitment, onboarding, and HR support.

You will assist with job ads, candidate screening, onboarding procedures, and maintaining training records, while coordinating with safety and administration. The role emphasizes attention to detail, communication, and a people-first approach.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 yrs. of Canadian HR experience.
• Written and Spoken English.
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• People first attitude.
• Knowledge of Employment Standards Act.

RESPONSIBILITIES Of The HR Assistant

• Hiring of Staff: placing ads, screening of candidates, setting up interviews, manage offer process, reference checks.
• Assist with Onboarding Procedures, welcome email, New Employee Packages, coordinate with safety officer onboarding procedure, employee handbook.
• Manage environment for new employees (location, desk, phone, computer, chair, passwords, stationary, safety equipment).
